I am a film major. Currently writing my first screenplay. Its a short film. So just about 25 -30 pages. Don't get me wrong I love it. It's easy for me to completely submerge myself into a make believe world. However, seeing the pictures in your head is one thing, writing it in a way that others can see that same visual story is a completely different story. Screenwriting has been something new for me this semester, and I have actually grown to love it. Doing it for a grade is one thing, but I can see myself, in my downtime, writing out these elaborate tales that could one day be terrific enough for the world to appreciate. Look out Matt and Ben, accepting the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay:
So Halloween was a great time this year! It made up for last year, because last year I was super lame and didn't even dress up.. I think I might have handed out candy to a couple kids, perhaps watched a scary movie, but overall it just wasn't exciting. I was pretty dang determined to switch that up this year. Friday night I helped out at a Halloween Harvest Festival. My buddy Gary (what a sweet soul, putting himself out there with me) dressed up as Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog! Needless to say, put a pig nose on and your bound to draw attention to yourself. Gary was a good sport and we had a good time. Don't worry... I only got one inquiry as to whether I was the Swine Flu... Silly people...
Saturday night did not disappoint at all either! First of all, again, shoutout to my friend Ryan who, also being a good sport and great friend, willingly took on the challenge to make himself an Oompa Loompa as my partner in crime, or should I say the hub to my chocolate factory. Really, he should be thanking me because not only was he completely amazing and the hit of our friend Tim's party, he totally stole the best/scariest costume award HANDS DOWN! Really no one could compare. So hats off to you Ry, being the Oompa Loompa to my Willy Wonka!
After Tim's, I stopped by a cool little bash thrown by some other friends of mine at the Suncoast. It was a good time full of dancing, eating, and being absolutely nuts. These girls were so cute! In case you can't tell we have a: Miss America, Sexy Little Indian Girl, the ever famous, but still classic and cute Sexy Police officer, and a gangster. She works for my Cartel...Shout to the Don Harrington on that one...
OH! and Don't worry! The party was complete due to the fact that this man was here and present. Let me explain something to you. It is completely weird how even just the portrayal of a character, maybe not even looking exactly like the real thing but just the vibe I get from being in the room with someone pretending to be Edward Cullen, gets to me. I was in love.
Look at him creep in the background! So hilarious!
